Learn About Us
Kids
At Farmington First, our Ministry to Kids is primarily a partnership with parents, grandparents, and other guardians who are raising and discipling their children to become followers of Jesus. You are the primary disciplers and we want to serve, train and resource you for the journey. We do this through on-site ministries, training, and resources for at-home discipleship.

Sundays at 10:00 am (Birth-6th grade) First, find the check-in area in the KidZone just off the South parking lot at the rear of the main building. There we will meet your family, check your child into our system, and then one of our volunteers will lead your child to their age-appropriate room.
-
Before Service:
You can check in your child at the check-in stations in the pre-school wing or in the KidZone. After finding your child’s name in the database, you and your child will be given matching name tags that are exclusive to your family and your visit. Your child will need to wear the name tag portion while you hold on to the matching tag.
After Service:
After the service is complete, you will return to your child’s room and show your tag in order for your child to be released back to you.
During Service:
In the event that we need to contact you during the service, we send a discrete text message to your mobile phone number in the database. We ask that you exit the auditorium immediately and look for a staff member or volunteer who will direct you to your child’s room.

Farmington First offers childcare during the service for infants. We also have a Parent’s Viewing Room that is available in the preschool wing for mothers and fathers with infants. This room has a live video feed of the service, rocking chairs, and changing tables, and is reserved exclusively for parents with infants to enjoy the service in a more private and quiet environment.

Farmington First Kids has K-6th grade Wednesday Service from the 1st Wednesday of September through the 2nd to last Wednesday of May. Wednesday nights open for check-in with a parent at 6:15 p.m. and end at 7:45 p.m. with parent check-out.
Students
Farmington First Students (grades 7-12) exists to partner with students and their families in sharing the life-giving message of Jesus that, through discipleship, prayer, worship, and Bible study, they may know God, find freedom, discover purpose, and make a difference.
-
Farmington First Students (FFS) meets on Wednesday nights from 6:30-8:00 p.m. While student ministry often switches up how the service looks, you can usually expect a time of fun and games, a time of worship through song with our student-led band, a sermon from Pastor Jacob, and a time of small-group discussion.
Attending our Wednesday night service is a great way to check out FFS, see who we are, what we do, and hear about why we do it. Of course, you’ll also have some fun along the way.

Midweek Ministry
The mission of Farmington First is to Make, Mobilize, and Multiply Disciples of Jesus. Along with Sunday school, Wednesday nights at Farmington First will more intentionally make disciples of Jesus. We will do this via five sessions of six-week-long classes that meet biblical, theological, and felt needs of twenty-first century Christians. Learn more about our current session’s classes below.
-
Led by Trevor Gies. The Workmatters Institute (WMI) is a journey into the heart of the gospel, which we see as a powerful story of God desiring to redeem us and partner with us – through our work – to participate in His renewal of the world. Together we will develop a solid theology of work, embrace a posture to collaborate with God, and develop a plan to live into the area He is calling us to make a difference in right now. Each session includes reading and reflection, a formational activity, group discussion, and rich video content.
-
Led by Karen Lipford. In this Bible study we will explore every verse of Paul’s letter to his friend Titus. You’ll see the essential connection between right belief and right character and the way both testify to the goodness of the gospel. And you’ll be reminded that our world will be attracted to the gospel when they see its beauty displayed in us.
-
Led by Dr. Jeremy Roberts. Doctrine is a class that is self-explanatory. We are seeking to know the depths of biblical doctrine so we can make, mobilize, and multiply disciples of Jesus Christ. The doctrinal topics covered on Wednesday nights are different than the topics being taught on Sunday mornings in the Doctrine message series.
Women
A vibrant community of women seeking to know God through study in His Word. We encourage and equip women to stay in fellowship throughout the year within various Bible studies that are offered in the spring, summer, and fall. You’ll find Farmington First women serving and discipling others within the church and reaching out beyond our walls to impact the community in ways that glorify God.
Men
We biblically train and equip men to be spiritual leaders in their homes, in the church, and in their places of business. The Men’s Ministry develops men in Christian living to make an eternal impact for this generation and those to come. We accomplish this mission through Bible study, discipleship groups, evangelism training, leadership development, mentoring, retreats, and special events. In today’s culture, it’s increasingly important for men to honor God with their hearts and lives.
Life Groups
You were not designed to walk through life alone. Our desire is for you to find a lasting community at Farmington First. Life Groups allow you to connect with God and others, and form real relationships. Life Groups are designed to not only give everyone a place to belong and be cared for, but also a place to be encouraged and strengthened in their journey with Jesus.
Being a part of a Life Group is a great chance to meet people, build community and develop lasting relationships with others with whom you can do life. We are in this together….so join a Life Group today!
