HISTORY
Founded on October 3rd, 1948, Farmington First Baptist Church began with 58 charter members who gathered at our original location at Main and Church Streets. While a church is not a building (it is a group of called-out believers in Jesus), we have been blessed as a body with our large building on Rheas Mill Road that includes the Worship Center in 1993, and then in 2008/2009 we built The Edge for our student ministry and Kids Zone for our children. The church celebrated becoming debt free in 2021.
Seven decades and 18 pastors later bring us to today. Farmington First is a vibrant contemporary church, filled with people of all ages. To God be the glory for the story He is unfolding before us at Farmington First.
